The recipe from the TV show "Tim Malzer Cooking" with my modifications.

Tomato sauce in the oven

Serves 2.

5 tomatoes
1 large sweet paprika
2 large cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
pizza seasoning (basil, thyme, oregano ...)
parsley or cilantro
sugar, salt, pepper

Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on a non-stick baking sheet.

Wash the tomatoes, cut in half, cut the stalk and lay down on the sugar.

Preheat the oven to 240 degrees. Use only the top heat or, if there is none, place the baking sheet on the very top (I used a grill). Bake until the skin of the tomatoes shrivels and begins to burn.

While the tomatoes are baking, cut the paprika into small cubes, finely chop the garlic (do not crush), finely chop the greens.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and carefully remove the skin from the tomatoes (it comes off without effort). Crush the tomatoes right in a baking sheet with a fork or wooden spoon, add paprika, garlic, herbs, olive oil, salt, pepper, seasonings. Stir and place in the oven.

Bake at 220 degrees on an average level for about 30 minutes.

Pour the prepared sauce over rice or pasta. Delicious!

Z. Y. Before putting in the oven a second time, you can add grilled minced meat or grilled chicken breast to the sauce.

And here in the winter I settled down to make such a sauce from canned tomatoes for pizza. The jar is just skinless tomatoes, cut into cubes, absolutely nothing. I use frozen paprika.
