Bread with fresh cucumber and dill in a bread machine

Ingredients

Fresh cucumber, grated on a coarse grater, without seeds 3/4 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Sour cream 1/3 cup
Sahara 2 tsp
Salt 3/4 tsp
Dry dill 1/2 tsp
or fresh 1.5 tsp
Dry yeast 1 tsp
Flour 3 glasses

Cooking method

  • Squeeze the grated cucumber.
  • Add the ingredients to the machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer of your bread maker. Set to the main mode of white bread.

This recipe, guys, I flooded myself, I don't remember where. I recently found it in my archive file. And in such places I, I remember, did not keep bullshit. Anyway, this bread is very good. If you exclude dill (in any form), that bread will have a more pronounced aroma of freshness. Dill clogs it a little, to be honest. But that's for my taste. I am giving the original recipe.

I also baked bread with cucumber and dill today, only I have a slightly different recipe:

1.5 tsp dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
400 gr wheat flour (1 grade)
100 gr buckwheat flour
1.5 tsp salt
120 gr cucumber grated on a coarse grater
1 bunch dill, chopped finely
320 gr buttermilk


Everything is fine, if it were not for the collapsed roof, but this is a fixable matter, next time I will take into account my mistakes and correct myself ... In general, it turned out to be a very tasty and fragrant bread!

Loaf weight after cooling-650 gr. I baked in 1st grade flour. I will definitely bake it again, I hooked mine. The crumb is very airy, almost weightless!

P.S. The loaf came out not very high, but I have a good reason - a large bucket designed for 1.5 kg. loaf, bread from 450 gr. I never have more flour, so the size is all right.
If anyone decides to bake, I suggest, 3/4 cup of grated cucumber = 120 gr.
1/3 Art. sour cream = 80 gr.
