Ingredients

Filling:
Frozen spinach 350 g
Feta cheese or feta cheese 125 g
Liquid cream (drinking) of any fat content 50 ml
Potato starch 1 tea the spoon
Butter 15-20 gr
Salt, nutmeg

Cooking method

  • Defrost the spinach, drain the water. Melt the butter in a skillet, add the spinach and evaporate the remaining liquid. Drain the cheese well, cut into small cubes, add to the spinach, stir, simmer with occasional stirring, until the cheese becomes soft and begins to melt. Dissolve starch in 50 ml of cream, pour into a frying pan, simmer with constant stirring until the liquid is completely absorbed. Season with salt and nutmeg, remove from heat. The filling should be warm.
  • This amount of filling is enough for 16 - 20 pies.

  • Cut the finished puff pastry into squares, make 3-4 cuts on one half (very convenient for those who like to pile a lot of filling). Put the filling on the side without cuts. Grease the edges of the dough with water, close up the pies (I do this with a fork).
  • Put the pies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° (convection 180 °) until golden brown.
