"Tete-a-tete" snack cakes

Ingredients:

Fat bazaar cottage cheese (no grains, no whey) 250 g
Carrot 250 g
Celery root optional a piece
Green onion 2-3 feathers
Garlic 1-2 teeth
Mayonnaise 1-2 table. spoons
Gelatin (NOT Instant !!!) 1 sachet (9 gr)
Ginger optional small piece
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Grate carrots, celery, ginger, garlic on a fine grater. Chop the green onion finely. Mix vegetables and cottage cheese thoroughly. If the mixture is too thick, add mayonnaise. Salt and pepper to taste.

  • If you intend to eat the cakes right away, grease your hands with vegetable oil and roll them into balls. Roll the balls in chopped greens and refrigerate.


  • If you need to save the cakes for a couple of days, as in my case, we use gelatin.

  • Prepare gelatin (9 g sachet, "Dr. Oetker") according to the instructions on the sachet. Soak in 4 tablespoons of cold water and leave to swell for 10 minutes. Then heat over low heat with constant stirring until dissolved. Stir the gelatin with the curd-carrot mass and arrange in the molds.
