I also make baskets, often. I do it according to the recipe almost like the author's:

oil - 250 gr
yolks - 4 pcs
sugar - 1 tbsp
slaked soda - 1 tsp
flour - 3 tbsp

at the bottom I put any jam that comes to hand, but I like the dogwood jam more, my mother's.
I never interfere with my hands. pop out of the molds without knocking or picking out.
the result is very tasty, delicate and crumbly baskets.

Amazing recipe! I cooked it more than once, and I will still, the baskets very easily "pop out" from the molds, do not break, the dough melts in the mouth, tender, I take jams with sourness - cherry, raspberry, currant; the combination with butter cream is simply "bomb"!
