Over time, it took on such a scale that this time came under the name "tulip mania". Even now, tourists coming to Amsterdam will definitely be shown a huge house, which was bought for just three tulip bulbs. To stop speculation, the Dutch government had to issue a decree where the prices for bulbs were strictly determined.

Today in Holland there is a park, which was built in 1949, at the request of Count Van Linden, is collected, multiplied, grown and shown to visitors. It got the name Keukenhof. Any profit generated from this park will go towards further expanding the collection and planting area. And now this place is a real flower paradise.

Garden tulips came to Russia at the beginning of the seventeenth century and were brought from Holland. For a very long time, these plants were available only to very wealthy people, and only at the end of the nineteenth century did the mass reproduction of these bulbs begin. It took place on the coast of the Caucasus.
