Room for a child: up to 2-3 years
Parents want to be alone, and they want to put the baby to bed early. And he may think that this is the first signal of dislike. Eviction from the parent's bedroom can also be painful. And it doesn't matter at what age it happens. That is why it is better to provide the child with a separate room from birth.
We get to know the world around us. A child is better at remembering objects such as pictures, toys and furnishings if he has a separate children's room. Parents not only get a separate room, but also create the safest space for the child, in which there is no place for household appliances and sharp corners.
Preschooler's room
What if the children's room combines a playroom and a bedroom? A preschooler needs a place to play, as he spends a sufficient amount of time with his toys. Do not forget about the correct combination of pastel and bright colors, as well as the correct light. It is important that the color of the walls and textiles is chosen harmoniously. In any case, the baby's space should be comfortable, light and practical. And, no doubt, he should like it.
Getting used to independence. Children at 3-4 years old learn that things can be not only their own, but also strangers. If the child does not have his own room or corner, it will be difficult for him to understand this. After all, this is really not fair: you forbid him to take your things, but without asking you put away his toys. Your own room is an essential parenting tool. So the kid can learn to play or draw without adult supervision; to keep order; to decide from which books and toys he has already grown.
You should think in advance about the type and location of storage spaces, areas for creativity and play, so that your baby gets used to independence and order from a very young age.
Primary school room
Everything should be for the sake of classes. At this age, homework is perceived as serious, adult and very important work. Therefore, it is unacceptable to sit down for their implementation in front of the TV or in the kitchen. It is important to realize this space in such a way that nothing will interfere with the child. There should be a lot of space here to hang the alphabet, the lesson schedule and extracts from the spelling rules on the magnetic board. And in the same room, the baby should have a place to play.
Teen room
Full autonomy. A room for a teenager is its own space, limited from parents and adults, a kind of way for self-expression. A child in adolescence wants to communicate with friends, to be alone with his thoughts and to realize personal plans and ideas.
It is important for a teenager that no one gets to his personal belongings, so that no one cleans the room in his absence. And most importantly, a teenager should choose the whole environment in his room, based on his own preferences.
