Choosing a refrigerator. What should you pay attention to?Today, when up to half of the family budget is spent on food for the average family, the issue of the safety of food becomes especially relevant. Currently, the market offers a wide range of refrigerators for every taste and color, in different price categories; there are both ordinary household and specialized and exclusive.

When choosing a refrigerator, you need to focus on the needs of the family, but not at the expense of reducing the size. In small kitchens, a two-meter giant is unlikely to fit, but buying a small refrigerator, gaining space for life, is also not worth it - the constant overload of the refrigerating chamber with food leads to rapid wear of the equipment.

Refrigerators classified by the number of storage rooms. They can be single-chamber and double-chamber, there are specimens with three or more chambers.

For single-compartment refrigerators, the biggest advantage is their low cost. They are usually purchased in addition to an existing device.

Two-compartment refrigerators are the most popular among the population, because they combine both a refrigerator and a freezer compartment at the same time. It is more convenient when the freezer is at the bottom - it is used less often, and you do not have to look for the desired chilled product every time, bending into three deaths.

In terms of energy consumption, refrigerators are labeled with Latin letters: starting with A ++, A +, A ... and up to G. The further from the beginning of the alphabet the letter is, the more energy the device consumes and the cheaper it costs.

Each refrigerator must have a compressor. Two compressors are required if the refrigerator has two independent freezers. Thus, it becomes possible to separately regulate the temperature in each compartment.

Choosing a refrigerator. What should you pay attention to?It is important to consider which cooling system is best for you.

This can be natural air circulation inside the volume of the device. A self-thawing evaporator is built into the refrigerator or a wall, which is often covered with frost (this is normal), the moisture evaporates, but remains inside the refrigerator, providing long-term storage of products in high humidity conditions, delaying drying and wilting.

The forced air circulation system by the fan is called "No Frost". In this case, the walls are not covered with frost, the air has a low moisture content, and all products must be packed, as they dry out significantly. Many modern freezers are usually equipped with "No Frost", and the ice "coat" is not formed at all.

The defrosting method is a decisive factor when choosing a refrigerator, because manual defrosting is a very laborious and time-consuming process. Automatic defrosting is more convenient: the back wall of the refrigerating chamber is covered with drops, they are collected in a container above the engine, where they evaporate under the influence of its heat.

In addition, when choosing a refrigerator, you should take into account the presence of a freshness zone for fruits and vegetables; a very convenient "zero" zone for storing fresh meat and fish. Also pay attention to the comfortable design, buttons and remote controls.
