 The Bosch TAT 8613 toaster was chosen from among the many toasters sold in our stores because of the quartz heaters, and the firm mattered.
I approach every purchase of home appliances very thoroughly, read reviews, compare characteristics. We had several toasters, both with open heating elements and with quartz ones. We like the toaster with quartz heaters better, so the search was directed specifically to this type of model. Unfortunately, the search is quite difficult, because in the characteristics of toasters, nowhere is it written what type of heating element is used.
As a result, several suitable toasters were found and we chose the Bosch TAT 8613.
I do not select kitchen appliances by design, but it is always more pleasant to use a stylish and solid thing. Bosch TAT 8613 is just that - very stylish and beautiful. Moreover, the price turned out to be suitable, and that also matters.

In my opinion, the box is surprisingly large for a toaster.
Box size:

The box is colorful and informative.
From the pictures on one side of the box, we can learn about the operation of the toaster.
On the side we see photos of toasts and recommendations for choosing a mode for different types of bread (white, gray, rye).
The only inscription on the box is in Russian.
On the third side of the box is the toaster itself with the name of the BOSCH company and a mention of the Styline design.

Unpacking the toaster
We open the box. It can be seen that the manufacturer cares about the safety of the device, everything is packed conscientiously.
In addition to cardboard packaging forms, the toaster is in an additional bag, which protects it from mechanical damage.
In addition to the toaster, the box contains instructions in different languages.
The instruction in Russian takes 2 pages.

Now let's take a look at the toaster itself.

The crumb tray easily slides out.
The toaster has a conveniently fixed cord. There are three options for securing the cord by adjusting it to the desired length.
Consider the control panel.
On the left is the power button, to the right of it are the buttons for the degree of toasting, the "defrost" button and the stop button.

There are 4 heaters in total: one on the sides and two in the center.
Toaster Operation
Before the first use, the manufacturer recommends preheating an empty toaster at its highest browning level at least three times.
For convenience, I will unwind the power cord to the required length, fix it in the clamps, and connect the plug to the outlet.
Press the power button and set the roast level to 9 (flashing).
As the toaster heats up, the numbers from 1 to 9 light up.
Let the toaster cool down.
Now you can make toast and reheat buns.
The toaster has 9 toasting settings:
- for dry bread and toast bread from 1 to 5
- for gray or coarse bread from 5 to 7
- for brown bread from 7 to 9
The toaster will remember the setting toasting. Convenient feature!
The Bosch TAT 8613 can be used to toast frozen bread. To do this, press the "defrost" button and set the desired degree of roast.
You can use the toaster to heat up buns or slices of bread by pressing the switch on the side. The bun rack comes out.
For me, a toaster is an essential appliance in the kitchen. I make toasts every day.
Toast from my favorite black bread. They go well with soup.
Gray bread toasts that I bake in my bread maker.
With honey and a cup of strong hot coffee.
Summing up, I can say that even from such a simple device as a toaster, you can make a kitchen device for which reading the instructions is mandatory!
