On the display window (unfortunately, without backlighting), all possible programs and modes are first shown, from which, by successively pressing the buttons, you select the desired ones. Of the rich variety of modes, I would especially highlight Bake (pastries) and Bake Raisin (the same pastries, but with the addition of raisins and other dried fruits, which are placed in an automatic dispenser and at a certain moment are introduced into the dough). But I was not happy with the result of using the accelerated Bake Rapid mode: the bread turned out to be with a thick crust and not baked. Still, there is no need to rush in baking. Perhaps this mode is best used for baking the smallest sizes M (there are also L and XL). The size of the finished product is determined by the number of ingredients, and in the recipe book, all dosages are based on three different sizes.

By the way, this bread maker can also be used for making dough, and not only for pies or buns, but also for pizza. This is very convenient, because you do not need to make sure that the dough does not "run away", wrap the pan and look for a warm place. Yeast dough is very capricious, You can sculpt products of any shape and with different fillings from the resulting mass. And if you have a busy oven, Place the cooked dough in the bucket and bake in the bread maker using the Bake Only mode. This mode is great for fruit tarts (charlotte), gingerbread and muffins. The instructions also include recipes for yeast-free flour products.

Especially popular in my family is the French bread made with the Bake program in the French Bake mode. Having decided to save a little, I tried to use domestic dry yeast, but instead of a fluffy roll I got a flattened and wet bread product.By the way, any recipe from the Bake Raisin section is suitable for making Easter cake, you just have to decorate the finished product.

Just a miracle

The bread maker has a turn-on delay timer up to 13 hours. This wonderful feature allows you to get warm bread at the appointed time, for example, for breakfast. But the amazing advantages of the Panasonic SD-253 do not end there. The bread maker works almost silently. She notifies of the readiness of the next bakery masterpiece with a special sound signal. The bucket in which the bread is baked is made of non-stick material. It does not need to be greased with anything before baking, the finished bread easily pops out when the bucket is turned upside down. Frankly, I didn't even wash the mold after each time, I just wiped it with a dry towel and that's it.

And, finally, a pleasant discovery: it turns out that ordinary products are used to make such delicious real homemade bread, which are quite affordable and cheap. For those who are afraid of gaining weight or prefer a healthy diet, I advise you to pay attention to the Whole Wheat mode, designed for baking bread with the addition of bran, oatmeal and other cereals. You can also cook jam in this bread maker, but, alas, now is not the season, so I decided to postpone the test of this function until the summer.

Outcome: An automatic bakery will not become a simple decoration in the kitchen, because in any home there will always be the necessary products for baking products in it, and the result, with strict adherence to the instructions, will not disappoint your expectations.
